Our services in greater detail

We specialize in taking candid, rambling conversations about topics of interest and tightening them up into a more aerodynamic version of themselves. Your voice comes through more authentically for having just a little polishing in the gaps, and we work with you to make sure that your voice sounds how YOU want it, not how we think it should be.

But HOW do we do that?

If you are generally happy with your process but have just a little too much work overall, perhaps we can take some of the load off your hands. Hire us to temporarily replace you in your workflow, whether that is fixing a chronic problem in the back catalogue or editing an upcoming episode in your queue.

If you are new to podcasting, or not satisfied with your current process, let’s start with a conversation. We have figured out a lot by trial and error, and are always learning more as we work with new clients. From the first glimmers of an idea to a season 12 format adjustment, podcasts are always evolving and creating new problems for us to solve.

Starting a new podcast

  • We would love to help you take a chaotic idea and form it into a coherent podcast series. We can provide an outside perspective on your overall purpose, set up a plan for how to structure episodes, prepare publishing templates, and draft a schedule for consistent content creation and release.

Improving a current podcast

  • Let us help you look at your challenges from new perspectives. If you are as self-taught as we are, then undoubtedly we could both benefit from working together on common (or unique!) podcast problems. Do you want to add in a standard intro/outro, tighten up the “umm” count, add transition music, get rid of that one weird buzz, or some other small but critical facet of your production? We can help design and implement solutions.

If you are looking to just create raw audio and then have the rest of the process take care of itself, keep on reading.

  • Editing: the conversation starts and stops at the intended points, excess silences and crutch phrases removed, crosstalk cleaned up and separated, mis-spoken starts to sentences cleaned up, FX to normalize & equalize & limit volume levels
  • Post-production: attach intro, transitions, sound effects, outro
  • Publishing: write episode description and show notes, create episode announcements, post new episode announcements to social media
  • Hosting: We have an account with Spreaker from iHeart Radio that allows us to host podcasts and insert programmatic advertising in them, no matter how small their audience.
